4- one and a half years

I've never seen this shot before. Jason had it tucked away in a folder with all his favorite memories of Hawkeye.
He'd fleshed out all of a sudden, growing into himself in a way I'd half given up on him doing. He'd become even more willful as well, disobedient during training. He hated enclosed spaces and getting him into a trailer was a nightmare.
Jason kept on with training though and one day I remember looking out to the training ring to see Jason leading a perfectly complacent Hawkeye through a series of steps, the colt dogging his heels. Jason never could explain the shift. Hawkeye was just as unmanageable at other times, but would usually settle down during training.
He also showed an utter unflappability around archery, which was unexpected. Jason was big into archery and it was about here that I started hearing about all his plans to train Hawkeye to be a hunter.
