Background Information

History: Originally bred as a trophy for an oil tycoon, Queen was sent to Red Wind (since it's the most expensive and renown stable in the area) for training...and never really left. In the nine years since her birth she's settled in well, starting at the bottom of the RWE herd and eventually taking over as leader when the previous leader died. Her owner comes around about once a year to show her off to his friends, but for the most part she's considered a permanent fixture at RWE.

Temperament: Cool-headed, Queen is a regal presence at RWE. The staff relies on her to keep the herd "neutral", so that they can be a positive influence on any incoming horses. She's not the one to cry on when having a bad day, but she settles all arguments fairly and is a very even-tempered ruler. She is exceptionally well trained and responds well to all riders, although her role at the center is more that of an overseer than being directly involved in any one horse's training.

Quirks:
- Can seem rather cold if not given the proper respect, although the need for recognition stems more from needing to be seen as a leader to continue to have the herd follow her rather than any personal drive to be noticed.
- Abhors nicknames, will answer to little other than her given name and Queen for the English speakers.

Here's the bottom line; I'm looking to place these foals into story-based homes.
Not loving, not caring, story based. I don't care if you love little Chestnut with all your heart and would just die to get him the perfect playmate out of one of my horses. (Well, I do care, it's just that I don't believe you because everyone says that.) What I'm interested in is finding homes where the foal will further an ongoing plot line you have. I want to hear a reason for obtaining the foal other than that you think the offspring would be pretty or that it rounds out the mutation collection you're amassing.
If I sound bitter it's just because I see so many Nordanners bought and sold like luggage and it makes me sick at heart to see such chances for personality get thrown away. Hoarding and over-breeding are equally painful for me to see, which is why I'm so miserly with my horses' slots.
