History: One evening a traveler stumbled into RWE with nothing but a few possessions strapped to the back of a pair of striking yearlings. He begged for safe passage, as he was on his way to Nowhere to sell the twins in order to get money together to buy medicine for his ill wife. Kaveh kindly offered him food and shelter for the night, for him and his horses.
The staff settled down to sleep that night, unaware that the "traveler" was a actually a mercenary. His buddies had been waiting a kilometer out and met him by the stables, his arms full of small things nicked from the sleeping quarters. Quickly and quietly they woke the horses and started putting bridles on them, intending to steal RWE's whole herd while the staff slept. Unfortunately for them they had not prepared for Ria. Unhappy at being woken the mare lashed out, braying her displeasure and trying to take a chunk out of anything within reach of her mouth. They managed to muzzle her after long moments and thought they had gotten away scot-free as they led the horses out.
However, Ria's bellows had awakened Nehkbet. As they began walking out into the dunes a haunting melody drifted by, insinuating itself into their heads and luring them gradually off the trail. None of them realized the danger before they were hip-deep in sand, empty handed, the horses wandering back to the stables. The last thing any of them saw was Nehkbet's blazing eyes in the darkness.
The next morning the staff woke up to a barn fuller than expected, with no sign of the traveler. With no other option they took the twin horses in and raised them as part of the herd.

Temperament: The twins are an eerie pair. Of African decent rather than Middle Eastern, they share a lot of history with the RWE horses and yet there's always some small disconnect that makes them seem just a bit...off. They often finish each other's sentences and devolve into arguments that run in seemingly endless circles.
Rashat is slightly lighter in build than his twin sister, and allows her to push him around and speak for him a lot of the time. She dotes on him and he on her, but in the end he's the milder of the two and will back down from a fight rather than instigate one.

Quirks:
- Sharpens his horns only rarely, as they seem to grow more slowly than his sister's.
- Eyes can seem to change color from yellow to amber depending on the light.

Breeding RulesHere's the bottom line; I'm looking to place these foals into story-based homes.
I breed for character and plot, and ask the same of those who acquire slots to my horses. If you have a plan in mind, send me a note with a story. Tell me about the foal you hope for, how it will fit into your stables. If I feel we're seeing eye to eye, I will give you a slot.
Nordanner slots will cost one fullbody with background and dragon tack picture of a horse of my choice, and a fullbody with background breeding picture.
Price may go up or down depending on the horse; slots to doms will typically cost more.
Other breeds are subject to rates based on that breed.
I don't enforce crazy rules; you may breed a dom or recessive, and sell or gift the foal down the line, I just ask to be kept somewhat updated as to what's going on with them as I do care about them. A well looked after and active foal may even inspire some fan art from me!
