Edit4: Really just updating so I can link the picture on my personal blog and have the most accurate, up-to-date image. Not a whole lot has changed beyond adding rocks to the right bank of the stream- the left bank ones will be added eventually. Also smoothed out a lot of the textures, including the rocks. Estimated time spent so far; 17 hours
Edit3: More work put in. I've been reading and rereading all the critique I got and have made some minor but (I think) influential changes. I put most of the time into the textures; especially the grass and foreground rocks (still need to do the bg). I also added in the sketch for the far background and it really brings the piece together to have something fill that space in. Estimated time spent so far; 15 hours.
Edit2: Another look at my WIP canvas for my bedroom... it's coming along so slowly but I'm really happy with it. Added some ground foliage, tweaked the water and drew in the waterfall. Next step will be painting in the far background.
Edit: Made some more progress tonight. Starting to really like this piece c:
Total time's up to about eight hours.
Just thought someone might want to see. I completely redid the sketch for the canvas I'm going to have printed for a more synergistic layout. This one will fit over the three canvases much better.
I would say I've put about six hours into it so far |D This is gonna be a long one.
