>>  Subject is confirmed for competition

>> A little bit about the symbol and tack, if you're so inclined to provide it. See the thumbs below for examples.

Only for use by D-F-S competitors!

Horse

The form-fitting body mesh is a light-weight, semi-transparent cloth mesh that holds the hardware for the hit detection sensors. The amount of body coverage is standard and it is engineered to restrict moment as little as possible while still offering full-body sensing. The mesh gives the computers blow-by-blow feedback when the holographic dragon makes contact and helps track the team's location for the cameras to follow.

The fully customizable saddle blanket is also standard for all competitors. The aim is to make the horse as visible and easily recognizable as possible from afar.

The saddle and bridle, as a throwback to Aleria, are modeled after the three Nordanner saddleries and are customizable to a certain extent. Tack must be inspected by DFS staff and wired with more sensors prior to competing.

Hair must either be shorn in the traditional Nordanner war cut, or braided up and out of the way so as not to restrict the sensors. Ribbons and other dangling bits are not allowed, as they might interfere with sensing.

Rider

Riders wear regulation, form-hugging catsuits with sensors to be woven into the material to wire up the rider the same way the horse is. They are typically colored to match the horse's saddle blanket design.

A helmet is also provided, again dyed the horse's colors. Riders are expected to keep long hair tied back.

Depending on the style of competition riders are given standard-issue swords (wired with sensors) and/or a bow and virtual arrows to compete with.
