MR SQUIDDLES
He took three days to make
He measures four feet from armtip to top of head, would like you to paint him like one of your french girls, and is SUPER CUDDLY I AM IN LOVE.
He was designed off the DIY idea; build-a-diy.tumblr.com/post/60… but most of the images are broken and the pattern's not to scale. I happened to find this 8' Giant Squid, Full Size pattern on DA, bless you kind soul, and then just winged it like crazy after scaling it down to half size since I don't have nearly enough fabric for the full version. I think I checked the instructions twice; once to see how many of each piece I needed cut out, and then again at the end to check eye placement, and that was it xD I like building off the cuff, it's way more relaxing.
BUT HE'S SO CUDDLY YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
He's also huge. I took a pic of him on my laptop cause it was the best thing I could find to give a sense of scale. He also enjoys the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack because he dreams of one day becoming a pirate.
