Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Playdate {Mini-Contest}{Point Prizes}

In an alternate universe (where Jager isn't lost in a forest and Hawkeye hasn't got his hands full with Aris) my poor stallions are feeling rather cooped up. I'd like to send them out on a few playdates and I have some rewards for those who can show them the best time

This is an art competition with point and art prizes that will scale based on how many people enter.

The Mission

Take one of my nordies to your ranch/stable/farm/home and have them hang out with your nordies! But make sure you take a picture or two, I want to see what they get up to!

You can have Hawkeye and/or Jager come to visit, and show either/both with any number of your own horses.

Any type of piece is allowed; fullbody, headshot, whatever floats your boat, but at least one of my nordies and one of yours must be shown.

I will judge on creativity of content (ie doing something on the playdate that's different and cool/scary/funny/etc) and accuracy to my character's personalities (ie not having them do anything they wouldn't do normally). Brownie points for including a story.

We all know you skipped here first, don't lie. Depending on how many enter, I will have up to three places.

Q. What if I don't have a nordanner?
A. You're still welcome to participate! No harm in it and you won't be judged differently x3

Q. What if I can't get my entry in in time. Will you extend the deadline?
A. Afraid not. You have over a month, if you're that interested in the event you should be able to complete at least a headshot in that time.

Q. Where can I find information about their personalities?
A. Aside from on their references, Hawkeye's story is neatly organized in this folder, starting at the top. A quick skim of that will give you a good idea of his personality.
You can find out a decent amount about Jager in these three paintings, and this collab.
That should give you a solid head start.
